Madam Oxy just sent me a very generous donation.
thanks for that Madam Oxy!
she made the donation in remembrance of
Prisonher
and also in remembrance of Toby, which is Lady sub's Dog which recently parted.
what a great idea and swell thing to do.
the total donation was 100$...and will go to help pay the next fee months fee's here at ophile.
if anyone who donates wants recognition...or wants to donate in remembrance of someone...just let me know and I will post it in its own sticky thread.
personally I didnt know Prisonher well....but I did communicate with her a few times...and I liked her style.
I know she was young....and interesting. her energy reminded me of the 80's punk scene a bit.
as for Toby....I love dogs and all animals.....but especially dogs.

I have recently been contacted by a company that is interested in working with opiophile.org for gathering anonymous information regarding opioid pharmaceuticals, use, abuse, that is used to supply data to both pharmaceutical companies, treatment facilitys, and consumer and student health advocates.
all I have to do is post the link to the anonymous 20 minute survey...
this would start in october, and run a month or two, until we host 500-600 individual surveys.
if we could influence that many people to take the survey somehow, then this company would give opiophile a generous donation.
this donation would pay for at least a year of opiophiles maintenance/software fees, allow for another t-shirt design, or stickers/patches to be made, and possibly be put to other use, not to mention help reimburse me for some time and energy, and also allow me to work towards possibly gaining a non profit status someday.
