I have recently been contacted by a company that is interested in working with opiophile.org for gathering anonymous information regarding opioid pharmaceuticals, use, abuse, that is used to supply data to both pharmaceutical companies, treatment facilitys, and consumer and student health advocates.
all I have to do is post the link to the anonymous 20 minute survey...
this would start in october, and run a month or two, until we host 500-600 individual surveys.
if we could influence that many people to take the survey somehow, then this company would give opiophile a generous donation.
this donation would pay for at least a year of opiophiles maintenance/software fees, allow for another t-shirt design, or stickers/patches to be made, and possibly be put to other use, not to mention help reimburse me for some time and energy, and also allow me to work towards possibly gaining a non profit status someday.

we had to remove any mention of _ay-_al from this website.
they froze my account, until the donation portal, and all mentions of their website/company was removed from opiophile.
we will see if the funds transfered from that account are retrievable.
I think they will be.....
Billi has helped me out with this matter.
and within a few hours of him getting all mention of the unmentionable name (NOT CANNABIS) off of the website, he was able to set up a transfer of the funds into my other bank account.
there is not point in raising too much stink about this.
but, from now on....NO MENTION of that name is allowed on this website.
if a member insists on doing so...it will be ground for immediate and permanent banning from the website.
from now on, and or at least for the time being....all donations will have to be arranged to be sent by western union, or money order. personal checks are OK as... [Read More]
